It’s June everyone and once again E3 is looming over the horizon, with about a week to go before everything starts it’s time for one of my favorite parts of E3. Wildly speculating on what’s going to happen. If you’re interested in the show, take a look at my predictions below and let me know what you think in the comments.
God of War makes it’s return to show off the power of the PS4 Neo:
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a God of War game and following the recent leak of art assets it wouldn’t be strange to see that God of War with a new Norse mythos look as the flagship game to show off the power of Sonys new PS4 Neo.
Sucker Punch is making a Spider-man game:
You may have heard this one before, all we have to go on is an entry in a stunt mans resume, however, it’s the perfect time for a new game about the wall crawler and an open world super hero game is definitely in the Infamous developers wheel house.
Resident Evil gets a reboot:
Capcom has taken more than a few missteps with this series. Resident evil has been in the news quite a bit recently thanks to a wave of HD remakes. I think it’s about time for a full on reboot. A re-imagining for a new generation of consoles and players.
Xbox one Oculus support:
With all the rumors of how powerful the next iteration of the Xbox one will be a partnership with Oculus Rift makes sense. Microsoft has already partnered up with Oculus by including an Xbox One controller with the headset, on top of that they need a counter to Playstation VR.
Bethesda announces Quake:
In 2009 Bethesda acquired id software and has been hitting the mark on classic revivals since. Hot off the success of Doom seems like the perfect time to announce a revival of the classic arena shooter.
